Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Innovation Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is for an HVAC Installation Technician student. 


Alliant Energy Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is for students in the Electric Power Distribution or Gas Utility Construction and Service programs.  To be eligible, new or continuing students must enroll in a minimum of 12 credits and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. 

One scholarship is to be reserved for a minority or under-represented group within the student population or for a woman in a non-traditional area of study. Scholarships are to be used to offset the cost of tuition and/or books.


 


Altrusa Club of Fond du Lac Scholarship

This scholarship is for a female student over the age of 25 with demonstrated financial need.


American Association of University Women Scholarship

Washington County female resident; over 28; demonstrated financial need


American Association of University Women, AAUW - Beaver Dam Branch

This scholarship is for a female student age 25 or older enrolled in 12 credits or more with a minimum GPA of 2.75.  The student must also be a resident of Dodge County.


Ann Marie Burroughs Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Barbara Prissel Memorial Scholarship

Barbara A. Prissel loved education and music.  She was a legal secretary several years before joining Moraine Park Technical College.  Barbara was a lead instructor for the Legal Administrative Professional Program and was instrumental in developing the legal secretary program.  Barbara was a church organist and pianist, and taught music lessons for many years.  Barbara was also an active volunteer in Ripon Public Schools.




Basic Education Fund Scholarship

This scholarship is for Basic Education students pursuing further education at MPTC.




Beaver Dam Kiwanis Club Scholarship

This scholarship is for a Beaver Dam campus student enrolled in at least 6 credits with a minimum 2.75 GPA.




Beaver Dam Rotary Club No. 2677 Scholarship

This scholarship is for a student attending at the Beaver Dam campus.


Bernard A. and Muriel F. Potter Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for a Criminal Justice-Corrections student over the age of 40




Bonnie Weiland-Hare Memorial Endowment

This scholarship is for a second year student attending the Beaver Dam campus who is enrolled in at least 6 credits.




Bradley J. Matusiak Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for a second-year Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Associate (AODA) program student; 3.0 GPA minimum


Carol and Marcia Nappi Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for a female Mechanical Design Technology student enrolled in a minumum of 6 credits with a high school or MPTC GPA of 2.75 or greater.




Carolyn J. Schucht Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is for a student enrolled at the West Bend campus




Chiropractic Technician Scholarship

This scholarship is for a second-year Health and Wellness program student who has completed the Chiropractic Technician and Chiropractic Radiologic Technician courses and is a Health and Wellness Club member.

This scholarship is for a Culinary Arts program student


Deb Schmitz Memorial Scholarship

Deb Schmitz, MS, RN was a beloved team member of the MPTC nursing faculty for greater than 10 years. Deb was an extrodinary mentor to new faculty, a strong and devoted nursing instructor, a devote lover of dogs and a Packer fan to the core.


Denise Kryzanowski Tribute Scholarship

This scholarship is for a student who demonstrates strong volunteerism in the community, has a minimum GPA of 3.5, and is enrollment in 6 or more credits.


District Student Ambassador Scholarship

Distict Student Ambassador will receive $500 scholarship and runner-up $300 scholarship.


Don & Ann Charleston Nursing Scholarship

Ann Charleston received her nursing degree from Northern Illinois University.  Now retired, Ann enjoyed a rewarding career as a public health nurse. 


Don & Ann Charleston Scholarship Fund

The Don & Ann Charleston Scholarship Fund is for students enrolled in the Mechanical Design, or manufacturing related programs.

Don graduated in 1974 from Moraine Park Technical Institute with a one year degree in Mechanical Drafting and moved to Peoria, Illinois.  He began a successful 34 year career in the heavy equipment industry in May, 1974 with WABCO Construction and Mining Equipment, where he worked in engineering checking and scraper design. He moved to Caterpillar’s Mossville Engine Center in 1978 and began his 30 year career in diesel engine component design. Don worked on most engine components and engine families, such as on-highway truck, marine, industrial, and CAT machine.  The last 18 years he did design of engine wiring harnesses. He was on the original 3116 engine design team, the 3126 design team, and the C-10/C-12 truck engine design team. His travels took him to Russia and China doing engine installations on new city busses.  He helped ramp up Caterpillar’s Greenville SC engine facility in 1994 for the production of the 3126.  Don retired in 2008 as project team leader of wiring harnesses for most MEC engines.  His life was changed by MPTI.
 


Elizabeth Kimball Wright Scholarship

The Elizabeth Kimball Wright Scholarship is awarded to a male full-time current nursing student at Moraine Park. The student must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be in financial need.


Elmore and Alyce Kraemer Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is for students with a minimum GPA of 2.75 and enrolled in six credits or more.


FACT Scholarship

FACT Scholarships are available to students who are enrolled in Civil Engineering, Electromechanical Technology, Mechanical Design, Process Engineering, Fabrication Technologies, Mechatronics or CNC/Tool & Die Technologies, Metal Fabrication, and Welding. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours per semester, or a minimum of six (6) credit hours for Welding or Metal Fabrication, and maintain a 2.75 GPA or greater.




Fond du Lac Area Foundation - Agnes Rose Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for a Business, Marketing or Publishing associate degree student. The students must be a Fond du Lac county resident; over 25; enrolled at the Fond du Lac campus; demonstrated community/charitable service. Two awards available for first year students, which can be renewable, and two awards available for second year students.




Fond du Lac Area Foundation - Kiekhaefer Fund Scholarship

This scholarship is for Fond du Lac area students enrolled at the Fond du Lac campus.


Fond du Lac Area Foundation - Rita J. and Robert E. Rucks Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for a second-year Culinary Arts program student.

This scholarship is provided through income from a fund established by Robert Rucks in memory of his wife, Rita, who was an avid and excellent baker and cook.


Fond du Lac Area Foundation - Ronald D. Hamilton Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to: 1) a student enrolled in the Automotive Technician program and 2) a student enrolled in the Automotive Technology program at Moraine Park Technical College.  Students must be enrolled in six credits or more and have a minimum GPA of 2.75.

This scholarship is provided through income from a fund established by family and friends of Ron Hamilton who was a lifelong car enthusiast.


Fond du Lac Area Foundation - Susan M. Henken Zibung Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for a second-year Nursing student.  Students must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits and maintain a GPA of 2.75 or greater.

The Susan M. Henken Zibung Memorial Scholarship was established by Dr. Willard and Dolores Henken in memory of their daughter, Susan M. Henken Zibung.  Susan received her nursing degree at Moraine Park Technical College and went on to earn an RN and received advanced certification as an oncology nurse.


Fond du Lac Area Foundation-Emmett & Diane Leonhardt Scholarship

This scholarship is available to graduates of Fond du Lac High School with plans to attend MPTC.  Financial need will be considered. 
 


Fond du Lac Noon Rotary Club Charities Scholarship

This scholarship is for recent graduates of Fond du Lac high schools.  May be renewed for second year.




Fondy Vintage Auto Club Scholarship

The Fondy Vintage Auto Club Scholarship is for students enrolled in Automotive related students with finaicial need.


Francis R. and Ruth E. Oberreich Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students with a 2.75+ GPA taking six credits or more per semester.


Hartford Lioness Club Scholarship-Continuing Student

Current Moraine Park student who has completed 1-2 semesters, enrolled in any degree-granting program taking at least 6 credits.  Student must have a 2.75+ GPA with demonstrated financial need. Applicant must be a resident within the boundaries of Hartford Union High School District.


Hartford Lioness Club Scholarship-High School

Current high school student planning to attend MPTC enrolled in any degree-granting program taking at least 12 credits.  Must have a 2.75+ GPA with demonstrated financial need. Applicant must be a resident within the boundaries of Hartford Union High School District.


Hartford Lions Scholarship

This scholarship if for a Hartford High School senior graduating this spring and enrolled in any degree granting program.  Student must have a GPA of  2.75+ and be enrolled in 6+ credits.


Heather Wright Evenson Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship is for a full-time Nursing student who is attending on the Fond du Lac campus, is currently employed, and demonstrates financial need.


Henry W. Kempf HVAC Scholarship

This scholarship is for a student enrolled in Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Technology with demonstrated financial need.

The Henry W. Kempf Scholarship was established in memory of Mr. Kempf by his four children.  Mr. Kempf worked in HVAC for most of his career.  To honor their father. Mr. Kempf's children wanted to help students pursuing an education in the HVAC program.
 




High School Graduate Scholarship

One award per high school within the Moraine Park district only. 




International Education Scholarship

Student enrolling in an International Education program.  Student must be enrolled in a study abroad program through Moraine Park International Education and demonstrate academic and civic merit.


James Spanbauer Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for a student enrolled in the Automotive Technology program and also a resident of Wisconsin.  The student must be enrolled in six credits or more and have a minimum GPA of 2.75.


Jane D. Merten Memorial Scholarship

The Jane D. Merten Scholarship was established in memory of Jane by her family.  Jane was a former graduate from the Accounting Program at Moraine Park Technical College.  To honor Jane’s memory her family wanted to help students pursuing the Accounting/Accounting Assistant programs.
 
 


Jeannette Lopez Dream Scholarship

Jeannette Lopez was an educator for 25+ years in Wisconsin and Puerto Rico. She supported every student possible, especially Hispanics and Latinos. Working with all students to make sure they attended college or an apprenticeship. She believed that every student should have a chance at furthering their education. 


Jeff and Debra Vollstedt Scholarship

Jeff and Debra Vollstedt, 1973 graduates of the Electrical and Marketing programs at Moraine Park Technical College, credit their success in part to their MPTC education, especially to their excellent instructors. To show their appreciation, Jeff and Debra are paying it forward by supporting Moraine Park students through the Jeffrey and Debra Vollstedt Scholarship. This scholarship benefits students pursuing a degree in the Electrical Power Distribution program for which Jeff has been an adjunct and substation instructor since 2010.


JEM Design Group Scholarship

Jim Michels is a 1989 graduate of Moraine Park's Civil Engineering Technician-Structural program who credits his education a large part to his success as a Senior Fire Protection Designer. Jim is also an entrepreneur who started two Fire Protection Design companies and is the sole owner of JEM Design Group, LLC located in Fond du Lac. Jim feels strongly about sharing his extremely positive experience by offering scholarship support to others who wish to be a part of the same program.

John J. Shanahan Endowed Scholarship

John Schaetzel Mechanical Design Scholarship

The family of John Schaetzel established this scholarhsip in memory of their beloved son and brother.  John received his Mechanical Design degree from Moraine Park in 1977 and worked at Giddings & Lewis before he passed away from complications of childhood diabetes in 1980.

This scholarship is for students enrolled in the Mechanical Design program with a GPA of 2.5 or greater and enrolled in at least 6 credits.


Joseph M. Jacob Memorial Scholarship

The Joseph M. Jacob Scholarship was established in memory of Joe by his family.  Joe lost his 14 month battle to stage four brain cancer in June of 2015, at the age of 53.  To honor Joe's memory, his family wanted to help students with an interest in hospice or geriatric nursing.


Joyce Peterson Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for a nursing student enrolled in a minumum of six credits and with a GPA of 2.75 or higher.  Students must have experience working in the healthcare field.


Kenneth G. Marsden Foundation Scholarship

The Kenneth G. Marsden Fund was established in 1981 to assist students from Rock, Dane, and Door Counties attain college degrees in business and nursing. Mr. Marsden grew up in Dane County, and attended UW graduating with a business degree, while his wife, raised in Door County, graduated with a degree in nursing. They lived most of their lives in West Bend. Over subsequent decades, the Fund has slowly expanded its scholarship awards to other Wisconsin areas.
 
The Kenneth G. Marsden Scholarship is for an Associate Degree Nursing student living in Washington, Dodge, or Fond du Lac counties.

 


Kenneth Wedell Endowed Scholarship for Apprentices

This scholarship is for a student enrolled in an Apprenticeship program. Preference given to those concurrently enrolled in the Technical Studies - Journeyworker program




Kettle Moraine Support Services, Inc. Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is for a Nursing program student who is a resident of Washington County.  This scholarhips is renewable with preference to career interest in hospice services.


Larry Pasquini Memorial Scholarship

Student must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and a credit load of 6 credits or more.


Laura and Arvin Murre Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for high school students planning on attending MPTC or students who are currently enrolled.  Students must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher.   


Marc Ian Nieto Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for an Automotive Technician or Automotive Technology student enrolled at the Fond du Lac campus.


Mary Abbott Memorial Scholarships

The Mary Abbott Memorial Scholarship was established by the family of  Mary Lynn Jo Abbott (1943-2018). Mary received her nursing degree at St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Marshfield, WI and had a rewarding 30-year career serving the needs of patients at Hartford Memorial Hospital. After retirement, Mary continued her association with the hospital through her work as a gift shop volunteer. Mary had many interests including bowling, crocheting, reading, theater and travel. But her greatest love was spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren. 


Miller Healthcare Scholarship

This $500 scholarship is for a student enrolled in the nursing, surgical technology, radiography or respiratory therapist programs.Students must have completed two semesters, be enrolled in at least 6 credits, have a GPA of 3.0, reside in Dodge County and have demonstrated financial need.


Milwaukee Society of Plastic Engineers Education Foundation Triangle Tool Scholarship

This scholarship is for second year students enrolled in CNC/Tool and Die Technologies. Qualifying students must take 6 credits or more and have a GPA of 2.75 or higher.  Preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need.


Moraine Park Alumni Scholarship

This scholarship is for a student with a GPA of 2.75 or higher and enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits.  This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of Moraine Park alumni. 


Moraine Park Excellence Scholarship - 2nd Semester

The 2nd Semester Excellence Scholarship is available to current students of Moraine Park and will be awarded for use for the Spring semester 2012-13 academic year. Reserved for students enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits with a GPA of 2.75 or higher. One letter of recommendation in required.


Moraine Park Federation of Teachers Endowed Scholarship

The Moraine Park Federation of Teachers was established in the 1960’s to represent Moraine Park Technical College faculty regarding working conditions, benefits, and wages, which contributed to the positive learning environment at Moraine Park Technical College.  The Moraine Park Federation of Teachers continues to support our students by offering these annual endowment scholarships.


The Moraine Park Federation of Teachers Endowed Scholarships is awarded to incoming high school seniors, new students and continuing students planning on attending MPTC. Students must maintain a culmulative GPA of 2.75 or higher and be enrolled in 6 credits or more with demonstrating financial need.


Moraine Park General Scholarship

Students must take 6 credits or more and maintain a 2.75 or greater GPA.


MPACTE Scholarship

The Moraine Park Association for Career & Technical Education (MPACTE) supports development of comprehensive programs to help individuals prepare for occupations, upgrade current skills, retrain for new occupations, and explore career alternatives. One focus of MPACTE is to recognize and support student achievement by awarding scholarships to full or part-time MPTC students.


MPTC Non-Traditional Occupations Scholarship (Female)

The MPTC Non-Traditional Occupations Scholarship (Female) is awarded to one female who is either a new student, current student or high school graduate planning to attend MPTC. The student must be in a NTO classified program. The student must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher and be a full-time student or part-time with at least 6 credits. 


MPTC Non-Traditional Occupations Scholarship (Male)

The MPTC Non-Traditional Occupations Scholarship (Male) is awarded to one male who is either a new student, current student or high school graduate planning to attend MPTC. The student must be in a NTO classified program. The student must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher and be a full-time student or part-time with at least 6 credits. 


Mr. & Mrs. L.R. Amundson Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is for an Associate Degree Nursing student in the West Bend, Slinger or Kewaskum school district; enrolled at the West Bend campus


Multi-Cultural High School Scholarship

This scholarship is for any Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American student graduating from a Moraine Park district high school in the same year as enrolling at MPTC.  Must have a GPA of 2.75 or greater and enroll in a minimum of 6 credits.

 


Nancy Steinke Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Nancy Steinke who passed away on Feb. 22, 2016.  Nancy was a 1969 graduate of St. Mary’s Springs Academy, and received a diploma as a licensed Practical Nurse from Moraine Park and then obtained her state licensure as an LPN. 

For more than a decade, Nancy was a partner and eventually became sole owner of Touchstone Living Center in North Fond du Lac. Nancy genuinely loved her profession and provided loving and compassionate care to her residents and comfort to countless families in need of her help.

 


Nelson and Vera Hicks Foundation Scholarship

Nelson Hicks was an entrepreneur, industrialist, and philanthropist.  Nelson and his wife, Vera, were active members of their church and supported many charitable causes throughout their lives.  That tradition lives on today through the establishment and administration of the Nelson and Vera Hicks Charitable Foundation, which generously supports Moraine Park students.  The Nelson and Vera Hicks scholarship is for students attending the Beaver Dam campus.


NEW Manufacturing Alliance's Future All Stars Scholarship

This scholarship is for a Manufacturing-related Associate of Applied Science degree student; current year high school graduate; must reside in a NEW North county.


NEW Manufacturing Alliance's Future All Stars Scholarship NTO

This scholarship is for a female high school graduate enrolled in a manufacturing-related Associate of Applied Science degree program. Qualifying students must reside in a NEW North county, be enrolled in 6 credits or more and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.


North Fond du Lac Optimists Scholarship

This scholarship will go to a recent graduate of Horace Mann High School or someone who lives in North Fond du Lac.  Candidates need to be enrolled in 6 credits or more and demonstrate financial need.


Patrick Jackson Memorial Scholarship

The Patrick Jackson Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an Electrical Power Distribution (EPD) student enrolled in 12 credits or more with a minimum GPA of 2.75.

Patrick attended Grafton High School where he competed in SkillsUSA Wisconsin State Finals.  After high school, Patrick enrolled in Moraine Park's EPD program and achieved his degree in 2011.



Pete Rettler Running Streak Scholarship

This scholarship is for a Washington County high school graduate planning to attend Moraine Park Technical College in the fall.  Must have a minimum 2.75 GPA and demonstrated financial need.




Pink Pumpkin Breast Cancer Scholarship

The scholarship is for any student who has beeen diagnosed with breast cancer.  Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits and have a GPA of 2.75 or greater.


Richard Abbott Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the family of Richard "Dick" H. Abbott (1940-2018). Dick graduated from high school in Pine City, MN and served his country from 1966-1969 as a member in the United States Army. He went on to have a dedicated career at International Stamping (Midas) in Hartford, retiring after 30 years. Dick spent his life giving back to others through his service to his church, the Knights of Columbus and the Third Order of St. Francis. In his leisure time, Dick enjoyed traveling, theater, gardening, watching movies, and visiting family in Wisconsin, Iowa and Indiana. But most of all, he loved being with family and cherished all of his grandchildren.  




Ross and Viola Galbreath Memorial Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is for a Business, Engineering or Technical student. Wisconsin high school graduate with strong math skills; preference to Dodge County residents.

This scholarship is for a full-time students enrolled in the accounting program with a minimum GPA of 3.0.


Stephanie Nevins for Health Care Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is for a Health Care program student; preference to employees of Agnesian Healthcare and its affiliates




Ted and Grace Bachhuber Foundation Scholarship

Ted Bachhuber and his wife Grace were instrumental in starting and then growing the Mayville Engineering Company (now referred to as MEC) into a worldwide provider of products and services.  In 1982, the Ted and Grace Bachhuber Foundation was established with the mission of supporting programs and organizations that improve the quality of life in the Mayville area. 

The Ted and Grace Bachhuber Foundation Scholarship is for Dodge County residents with preference given to Mayville-area residents.  All program areas are eligible except Apprenticeships, Hospitality and Tourism, and Human Services.


The Heffron Family Scholarships for MPTC Veteran Students

The Heffron Family Scholarships for MPTC veteran students are established for deserving MPTC program enrolled students who demonstrate motivation to complete their program through hard work, leadership, helping fellow MPTC students and financial need, as determined by MPTC.

This scholarship is for a U.S. veteran, active duty armed services member, or a current member of the National Guard or Reserve.  Students must have a 2.75 GPA or more and enroll in a minimum of 6 credits.



The Ledge Games Scholarship

The Ledge Games Scholarships must be awarded to a student enrolled in 6 credits or more. Must maintain a standard GPA of 2.75 or higher and have financial need.

 


Tom Michael Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for a CNC/Tool and Die Technologies or Tool Design Engineering Technolgy student


Verve, a Credit Union Scholarship

This scholarship is available to high school seniors attending MPTC in the fall semester. Qualifying candidates must be a Verve, a Credit Union member in good standing.
 




Washington County Medical Society Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is for an Associate Degree Nursing student; Washington County resident enrolled at the West Bend campus.


Washington County SMART Recovery AODA Scholarship

SMART Recovery is an abstinence-based, not-for-profit organization with a sensible self-help program for people having problems with drinking and using.  We teach common sense self-help procedures designed to empower individuals to abstain and to develop a more positive lifestyle.  
 


West Bend Noon Rotary Technical Assistance Scholarship

This scholarship is available to program students who live in the West Bend or Kewaskum School District and are enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester. Preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need (have completed the FAFSA), requires 2 letters of recommendation.


West Bend Sunrise Rotary

This scholarship is for a West Bend high school student.


West Bend Woman's Club Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship is for an Associate Degree Nursing student attending full-time; Washington County resident; first-year student


Wisconsin Hospital Association

This scholarship is for a student enrolled in the final semester of a two-year health care program; covers final semester tuition, books and fees up to $2,000




Wisconsin Society of Respiratory Care Scholarship

This scholarship is for a second-year Respiratory Therapist student.

The Wisconsin Society for Respiratory Care (WSRC) is dedicated to our mission of reducing morbidity, mortality, and disability from pulmonary disease through education, prevention, rehabilitation, and disease management. The WSRC will encourage and promote professional excellence, support advanced practice of respiratory care, and serve as an advocate for patients, their families, and the communities we serve.

 




Ziegler Family Foundation Fund of the West Bend Community Foundation

This scholarship is for returning and new students who reside in Washington County and are enrolled in an Associate of Applied Science Degree program.  Students must be enrolled in nine credits or more and have a minimum GPA of 2.75.

Note:  If a recipient graduates early or drops out, remaining award money should be given to alternate students.
